From November 27th to December 27th, treat yourself to an enchanted interlude in Strasbourg. During Christmas, as you wander through the illuminated streets and alleys, the city transforms into a magical and enchanted wonderland. The stroll is enchanting and a delight for everyone.
Dates and Hours of the Christmas Markets
The Strasbourg Christmas market will be open from November 27th until December 27th.
Various Squares and Numerous Stalls
Explore the city and discover the various Christmas markets spread across numerous squares. Over 300 stalls will soon welcome delights and exceptional items symbolizing Alsatian Christmas traditions.
You can find your favorite exhibitors at various Christmas markets located on Broglie Square, Cathedral Square, Castle Square, Kléber Square, Fish Market Square, Temple Neuf Square, Saint-Thomas Square, Benjamin Zix Square, on the terrace of the Rohan Palace, as well as on Gutenberg Street and Hallebardes Street.

Program of the Advent Village
Published on 30 November 2023Throughout the entire duration of Strasbourg Capital of Christmas, Squares Louise Weiss and Suzanne Lacore transform into a magical place: the Advent Village sets up for a month of exchange and conviviality.
This year, once again, the Advent Village brings the Christmas spirit to life with a participative and friendly program consisting of shows and creative workshops, all in the heart of a magical place filled with fir trees, traditional chalets, and braziers.
In this space, the youngest ones are the kings and queens, as seen in the mini Christmas house construction site: with the help of an animator, young aspiring builders can construct chalets to their size, creating the playground of their dreams.
Around this miniature village, a multitude of shows and workshops animate the place: afternoons are filled with the voices of storytellers, fabulous stories played on stage, and various creative workshops.
On the long list of Village activities, a handful have been selected to give you a glimpse of this unique place.
Week of November 27 to December 3
- Wednesday, November 29 at 11:30 AM, 3 PM, and 5 PM: Assembly and customization workshop of a mini tree and/or Christmas bauble with Av Lab.
- Saturday, December 2 at 6 PM: Workshop of the Anonymous Singers around singing and body percussion.
Week of December 4 to 10
- Tuesday, December 5 at 6 PM: Snow and Christmas Tales by Christine Trautmann.
- Saturday, December 9 at 11:30 AM: Workshop for creating small wool hats to hang on the Christmas tree with Nuance Vagabonde.
- Saturday, December 9 at 11:30 AM, 2 PM, 4 PM, and 6 PM: Winter tale by Guillaume Louis and Pierre Zimmer.
- Sunday, December 10 at 11:30 AM: Show "A Christmas for Schotzi."
Week of December 11 to 17
- Monday, December 11, and Wednesday, December 13: Workshop for creating personalized greeting cards with gelli print with Kathleen Rousset.
- Wednesday, December 13 at 6 PM: Show "Bougrr de Noël."
- Saturday, December 16 at 3 PM and 5 PM: Workshop "The laboratory of emotions": creation of your own personalized ambiance spray.
Week of December 18 to 24
- Wednesday, December 20 at 2 PM: Theatrical reading of "Petite, à la chaleur d’une allumette."
- Friday, December 22 at 4 PM and 6 PM: Concert by the Satin Doll Sisters.
