Dive into the atmosphere of Christmases of yesteryear at the Alsatian Museum
Every year, while Strasbourg Capital of Christmas is in full swing, the Alsatian Museum offers a series of visits and events dedicated to Christmas in Alsace. An excellent opportunity to have fun immersing yourself in Alsatian traditions for the festive season... So, are you coming?
Discovering Christmas traditions
Visit the Alsatian Museum to be transported to rural 18th- and 19th-century Alsace: wander through former Strasbourg residences, observing thousands of objects that bear witness to everyday life in Alsace in this period.
At Christmas, the Alsatian Museum puts on all its finery to sweep you up in the magical atmosphere of Christmases of yesteryear. You will discover Alsatian Christmas traditions and meet traditional Alsatian figures (Saint Nicholas, Hàns Tràpp and Chrischtkindel).
