An event dedicated to local social and solidarity economy
Since 2015, over thirty local contributors to responsible purchasing gather to reinvent Christmas and offer a unique meeting space for international visitors, locals from Strasbourg and actors of the social and solidarity economy. Here, we recycle, exchange, bargain-hunt, create and invent different, fair-trade, and original Christmas offerings. It’s an opportunity to experience the Christmas holidays through mindful consumption.
This year, the actors of the social and solidarity economy, the artists and the local associations concoct a committed and festive program to provide you with a month full of sharing.
In 2020 and with the current health situation, the OFF-Market went digital and offered its content online.
Find your ethic Christmas presents through the online sale service of the OFF-Market products. The items are delivered by cargo bike to the customers in Strasbourg.
Lots of discoveries are to come with the MediaLab of the OFF Market: interviews, conferences, short documentaries, DIY tutorials,... For a better understanding of social and solidarity economy, and local initiatives towards social and ecological transition.
Show solidarity for the most vulnerable and participate to the OFF-Market solidarity campaigns.
The 2020 edition encouraged us to experiment a new kind of sharing all together to pursue the growth of social and solidarity economy, responsible purchasing and cooperation. Let’s prepare tomorrow’s world!

La Chambre Régionale de l’Économie Sociale et Solidaire (CRESS) Grand Est: it is a territorial organization of the companies for social and solidarity economy (cooperative, mutual, association, business companies of the social economy in the Grand Est region).
La Chambre de Consommation d’Alsace et du Grand Est (CCA-GE): 21 regional consumer associations united to inform, defend and encourage more mindful consumption towards common and shared interests.
COLECOSOL Grand Est, Le Collectif pour la promotion du Commerce équitable : this regional network of citizens, professionals and collectivities promotes fair-trade, mindful consumption and social economy in the Grand Est region.
ZIGetZAG.info: it is a platform for responsible purchasing in Alsace that gathers goods supply and services offerings respectful of social, fair and environmental appreciation.
