After tucking into the delicacies offered by the Irréductibles Petits Producteurs d'Alsace, come and recharge your batteries with friends and family in the Village de l’Avent.

In keeping with the traditional four-week preparation period prior to Christmas day, this cheerful village offers plenty of opportunities for socialising.

With its magical, timeless décor, it is the perfect place for children and families to enjoy a wide range of activities. Come and keep Christmas traditions alive with creative workshops where children and their parents can make traditional Christmas decorations, decorate the tree, and make greetings cards. The Advent Village also hosts a whole programme of shows: theatre, storytelling, Christmas concerts-you name it!

The Advent Village offers a full program of shows and activities. You’ll have the chance to discover specific Christmas traditions in the German style with contributions from Stuttgart on 4 and 5 December, and Dresden on 18 and 19 December, and in the Anglo-Saxon style with the participation of local associations, including 'Alsace – United States,' on 27 and 28 November, and 11 and 12 December. A reading corner has been specially set up, showcasing Christmas books, winter legends, and tales in French, German, and English. Outside, a book hut invites you to enjoy reading, as each story shared with your child or family creates unforgettable memories and weaves deep bonds for a better future.

Schools from all the neighbourhoods of Strasbourg will be welcomed to the Advent Village to attend shows and participate in creative workshops. These children will be able to return to the Advent Village accompanied by their parents to share moments with their family. Where ? Square Louise Weiss. Christmas cruises

On board Batorama cruises, a tale "Where have the Christmas elves gone?" immerses children in the magic of Christmas to enjoy an interactive experience. This fun and captivating audio commentary is available on all the cruises, from 25th November to 5th January 2025. Bredle workshop

The artisan bakers offer free Bredle workshops for children aged 4 to 10 at the Quai des Délices in a pop-up bakery on Place du Marché-aux-Poissons. Registration required on 03 88 15 24 00.

The festive and solidarity activities of the off market

At the OFF P. market, every Wednesday at 4 pm, let yourself be carried away by the holiday spirit with gourmet snacks! Children discover organic and fair trade delicacies, learning the fascinating journey of how these treasures arrived on their plate.
