Christmas Tree Collection in Strasbourg

After the festive season, the City of Strasbourg is organising a Christmas tree collection for recycling purposes. The trees will be shredded and transformed into compost after several months of maturation, as with all plant waste.

Collection Dates and Details

The collection will take place from 4th to 15th January 2025. During this period, residents of Strasbourg are invited to drop off their trees at one of the collection points distributed across the city.

• Saturday 4th Jan: 14:00 to 16:45 - Place du Marché, Neudorf
• Wednesday 8th Jan: 14:00 to 17:00 - Place de Zurich, Krutenau
• Wednesday 8th Jan: 14:00 to 16:45 - Place Jeanne Helbling
• Wednesday 8th Jan: 10:00 to 14:15 - Forecourt of the Albert Le Grand Primary School (Rue de Huningue)
• Saturday 11th Jan: Place du Conseil des XV, organised by the Rotterdam Cultural and Social Centre
• Saturday 11th Jan: 13:00 to 16:45 - Place de l’Hippodrome (near the socio-cultural centre)
• Wednesday 15th Jan: 07:00 to 14:00 - Rue de l’Elbe (near the playground)
• Wednesday 15th Jan: 10:00 to 14:15 - Rue de Watwiller (forecourt of the socio-cultural centre)
