Christmas in Music
Listen to the city vibrate.
Music fills every street, square, and monument, offering a unique sensory experience during the holiday season. From traditional choirs in churches to lyrical and symphonic concerts, as well as outdoor stages and participatory performances, the city transforms into a true open-air musical theater.
As you stroll through the squares and markets, you’re guided by the sounds, blending tradition and modernity, ancient instruments and contemporary creations. Christmas concerts, local choirs, and spontaneous performances punctuate your walks, turning every moment into a time of sharing and wonder.
Strasbourg invites everyone to create their own musical journey, to explore the various eras and styles that echo through the city, and to immerse themselves in the sound magic of the holidays. Here, music is not just an accompaniment: it becomes a true cultural experience, where emotions, stories, and traditions meet at the heart of Strasbourg, Capital of Christmas.
