Coming by motorhome

In Strasbourg, there is no specific parking regulation for motorhomes. You may park in spaces designated for light vehicles, provided it does not obstruct the smooth flow of traffic and you pay the parking fees.

Parking is permitted in all car parks (except those with height restrictions), and no spaces are specifically reserved for motorhomes. During the day, it is advisable to park at the "Elsau" tram park-and-ride car park.

Please note, a penalty is applied if parking exceeds 12:30am.

This rate includes unlimited round trips on the CTS tram-bus network for all occupants of the motorhome, up to 7 people, including the driver.

Access:
Rue Eugène DELACROIX 67000 STRASBOURG. Follow signs for "ELSAU" then "P+R ELSAU".
GPS: (North) 48.56755° - (East) 7.73057°

This year, two temporary parking spaces are open from 26 November to 5 January. You can park your motorhome or van:

  • At the public Coubertin car park, located in the European quarter, where you can take Tram E at the "Parlement Européen" stop and alight at "République", with the Christmas markets just a few meters away.
  • At the Vendenheim SNCF train station car park – Rue de la Rampe, which allows access to the city center in just ten minutes by train, or take the C9 bus to the "Les Halles – Pont de Paris" stop, with the Christmas markets just a few meters away.
