Three Christmas Trees for three different atmospheres
The Great Christmas Tree, place Kléber
Erected in the heart of Place Kléber, the Great Christmas Tree is the essential symbol of Strasbourg, Capital of Christmas. This year, its decorations will honour the traditional letter to Father Christmas, which we all wrote while dreaming of the much sought-after toys. Visit the tree every day to experience its majestic lights come ablaze and see the wonder of young and old alike. As night falls, the Great Christmas Tree gently awakens with lights and music, and with it, the entire Place Kléber lights up and comes to life, followed by the side of the Aubette and the enchanting stalls. Visitors young and old will marvel at the magic of the event.
Participative Christmas tree, place du Marché Gayot
Hang around for a while to play, create, discuss, or simply dream in one of the most intimate squares of Strasbourg, Capital of Christmas. The more skilled can take on the role of decorating the tree, which takes centre stage in this secret setting. Take part in decorative craft workshops and help make the tree beautiful.
Another Christmas tree, place Grimmeissen
This light architecture project offers an alternative vision of the Christmas tree, a digital and interactive version that is positioned as a signal at the heart of a different Christmas market, the OFF Market, Place Greimmeissen.
Its complex star-shaped architecture is mainly composed of wood and LED neon tubes. The device is fully digitally controlled, giving complete freedom to create stunning visuals and morphology of the object.
