Coming by car

Access the city via the A35 and then the M35 from Mulhouse and Basel, via the A4 motorway from Paris and Metz, and via the N83 national road.

Make sure to check the specific traffic regulations for vehicles in Strasbourg and equip your vehicle with the mandatory Crit'Air sticker by ordering it on the government website.

To make your access to the Strasbourg Christmas Market easier, you can exceptionally park your car from November 26 to December 24, 2025, inclusive, at:

  • Zénith Park-and-Ride, priced at €4.20, allowing parking and shuttle access to the Christmas Market for all passengers in your car, coming from the west of Strasbourg and Paris via Saverne (N4) only on Saturdays and Sundays. The shuttle drop-off zone is at the “Hôtel d’Alsace - Petite France” stop. To reach the markets, head towards the Ponts Couverts - Barrage Vauban, just a 2-minute walk away. You’ll arrive in the heart of Petite France, where the Christmas Market of the Indomitable Small Producers of Alsace and the Village of Advent will welcome you.

  • Vendenheim TER station car park: coming from Paris or Metz via the A4 motorway, you can park at the Vendenheim TER station, Rue de la Rampe, and reach Strasbourg by train in about 10 minutes.
