Back Gardiennage de chiens au centre-ville pendant le marché de Noël

City-centre dog-sitting during the Christmas market period

Published on 9 November 2022

After a successful trial period in 2021, the PatchGuard dog-sitting service will once again be available in the city centre, from 25 November to 31 December inclusive, non-stop from 11 AM to 7 PM.

100m² of space and grassland for your dogs
Patchguard is a dog-sitting service for people visiting tourist sites. Pets are kept in a specially fitted-out area of 100 m2 at 4 rue de la Douane. The area has its own heating and can accommodate up to 9 dogs at the same time. There’s plenty of grassland around for the dogs to be walked and there’s experienced, qualified staff to look after the dogs while their owners are away. Visitors can leave their pets at the centre for anything between an hour and a whole day, for a charge of €7 per hour.
It should be noted that dogs are not allowed in many tourist attractions, such as Batorama, the city’s museums and the cathedral.
Reservations
Dogs can be brought to the centre with or without reservation, subject to available places. Reservations can be made through the website: https://www.patch-guard.fr/
An award-winning company
PatchGuard was awarded the French Petfriendly trophy in 2022 in the tourism category and has the backing of the SEMIA business incubator, the Réseau Entreprendre and Alsace Destination Tourisme.
